Students will be allowed to make-up 12 hours per semester if half-time; 24 hours if full-time. Students starting through-out the year are on a Pro-Rated schedule for absences allowed.
IT Building Make-Up Lab
Students in our Information Technology program are fortunate to have the opportunity to make up time and/or for additional practice to stay current with your contract with PC computer access--provided on a first-come basis. Students are required to work on class-related assignments when using this lab. Each month, the location of the lab will rotate to a different classroom, as listed below. The schedule is as follows and is subject to change.
Days: Monday through Thursday (with a few exceptions--see below for room rotation)
Lunch Lab: 11:20 until 12:20 (please do not arrive any earlier)
After School Lab: 3:30 - 4:30

You must be in the Practice lab a minimum of 30 minutes for make-up time to be credited. Make-up time will be credited in increments of 15 minutes after the initial 30 minutes. Be sure to sign in on the clipboard and check in/out with the lab assistant in order for make-up time to be properly credited. No food or drink allowed, other than bottled water.
Additionally, it may be possible to arrange for make-up time with the instructor. The availability of this opportunity will depend upon the instructor's schedule, class load and a student's past performance in class. Make-up time slips must be given to the Attendance Office for credit to be received.
